The wooden pieces have a nice weight and feel smooth in the hand, no splinters at all. My wife and I keep it on the coffee table and end up racing through the smaller board setups before dinner. Expanding the playing area piece by piece is weirdly addictive.
My kids and I started with the 3-piece puzzles and worked up to the full board, and the sliding difficulty curve keeps everyone hooked. The pieces fit together with a satisfying click on the grid, and we've burned through a whole rainy afternoon without noticing.
The wooden pieces have a nice weight to them and slide into place without feeling loose. I started on the smallest board section thinking it'd be easy, then spent twenty minutes on a five-piece puzzle while my coffee went cold. Great little brain teaser for solo evenings.
