The wood veneer actually looks like real kaya, warm golden tone and all. It fits on my coffee table without swallowing the whole surface, which was my main worry. Stones click nicely on it too.
I was worried a full-size board wouldn't fit on my coffee table, but this one is compact enough to leave out all the time. The wood veneer has a warm golden tone that looks way nicer in person than in the photos, and the stones feel solid in hand.
The wood veneer actually looks like real kaya, way nicer than the cheap folding board I used before. Fits on my coffee table without eating up the whole space, so I've been getting a quick game in most evenings.
