The way Camus ties the absurd to Sisyphus’s endless rolling never gets old, and this edition’s crisp essay layout makes those dense passages easier to follow. Finished it in one sitting and already want to revisit a few chapters.
The marginalia alone are worth it—Camus's footnotes on the absurd read like a quiet argument with yourself. I've dog-eared half the pages already, which says something about how the essay pulls you in.
The binding is sturdy enough to survive a few rereads, which matters when you're flipping back to the myth section over and over. Camus’s pacing here is perfect for a rainy afternoon—by the end, I felt oddly lighter.
