We’ve read it about a dozen times now and the moment the book turns into that super shiny metal robo-book still gets a gasp every single time. It’s a fun one for adults too, the robot jokes are clever enough to keep me entertained while my kid points at all the details.
My kid giggled through the whole thing, and the moment it transforms into a shiny metal ROBO-BOOK feels like actual magic. The illustrations have that same silly energy as Dragons Love Tacos, which is exactly what I was hoping for.
