I got completely stuck on the puzzle box for two evenings straight, and when the final compartment finally clicked open, I actually cheered out loud. Every step feels like a mini escape room, and the Jules Verne theme adds a nice layer of story to the solve.
The brass-plated compass wheel and sliding panels feel satisfyingly tactile, and the mechanical clicks when you solve a step are really rewarding. I’d say it’s easier than the earlier ones if you’ve done those, but still a solid hour of head-scratching fun on a rainy afternoon.
Took me three evenings to crack the Jules Verne-inspired puzzle, and the mechanical bits inside are satisfyingly intricate once you get past the first false lead. Only gripe is the wooden pieces could be sturdier for the price, but the challenge itself kept me hooked.
