Helicone Kinetic Sculpture

I handed this to my nephew expecting a polite nod and ended up playing with it myself for twenty minutes. Twirling it between your fingers and watching the helix flip into a cone is weirdly hypnotic, and the math behind it makes it feel less like a toy and more like a little puzzle.

I keep this on my desk and find myself twirling it between my fingers during calls, watching it flip from helix to cone and back. The motion is smoother than I expected for something this small, and it's oddly hard to put down.
