Kyoto snurrande piltopp

Bought this as a desk toy and it's genuinely hard to put down. The hand-turned wooden body has a nice weight to it, and watching it settle into a perfect bullseye spin is weirdly calming. Knowing there's basically one artisan left making these makes it feel special.

The spin on this thing is unreal — it just keeps going and going on my desk. Knowing it was made by the last artisan in Japan doing this style makes it feel special, not just a cheap toy. Bought it as a gift and now I want one for myself.
