Rule of Three is a fast-paced strategy game for visual thinkers. Shuffle the cards and prepare to collect matching triplets of shapes, colors, and numbers. Can you outwit the other players and steal the cards they need?

Quick thinking, logic, and skill will win this set-making game! Though, bright and simple enough to appeal to younger players, under the surface lies complex strategic possibilities that will entice the most sophisticated table-top gamer.

Printed on Fair Trade Certified paper. 2 to 5 Players. Includes 69 Cards and gameplay instructions.

Instructions:

1. Draw a card either from the top of the draw deck or the top card of any opponent’s discard pile, if available.

2. You may swap a card (or cards) from your hand with cards from any opponent’s set so long as it remains a playable set.

3. You may pick up any sets you have in play and place the cards back in your hand to help form new sets.

4. You must play at least one set if able.

5. Signal the end of your turn by discarding one card from your hand and placing it face up in your personal discard pile.

Hazel ★★★★★

Played this with three friends who all claim they hate strategy games, and by round two they were snatching cards off the table. Matching the triplets of shapes, colors, and numbers sounds simple until someone steals the one you needed. Easy to teach, hard to stop playing.

Harper ★★★★★

The triplet-stealing mechanic got vicious about ten minutes in, which is exactly what I wanted from a quick card game. Rounds fly by since you're just matching shapes, colors, and numbers, so it works great as a filler between bigger games.

We brought this to a family dinner and ended up playing four rounds straight. Stealing a triplet right before someone else completes it is way more satisfying than it should be, and the shape plus number combos keep everyone scanning the table fast.
