Cinephile: A Card Game

The director round had my film-nerd friends arguing for twenty minutes straight, which is exactly what I wanted from a movie trivia night. Cards are sturdy too, so they'll survive being shuffled that hard.

Brought this to a family dinner and even my dad, who never plays games, got competitive arguing about Kubrick. The questions dig into directors and iconic performances rather than just mainstream movie trivia, which made it way more fun for the film nerds at the table.

We played this on a rainy Sunday and the quote round had everyone yelling answers at once. The cards are thick and the artwork on each one makes it feel like a little film history lesson. My only worry is that we'll burn through all the questions too fast.
