The tiling concept is genius—I keep finding new craters and mare regions every time I reassemble it, and the lack of a defined edge makes it endlessly reconfigurable. It’s a bit of a brain workout to keep the seam alignment right, but that’s half the fun. I’ve already lost an evening to it.
The icosahedral tiling is what sold me—it's genuinely clever how the craters and maria flow across the seams without a single awkward gap. I've spent three evenings on just the mare regions and it's still pulling me back for another piece, like the surface really is endless.
The way the lunar surface tiles together into an icosahedral pattern is genuinely mesmerizing—I keep finding new crater clusters every session. It’s challenging but never frustrating, and I love that it doesn’t have a traditional edge to work with.
