The acrylic layers catch light differently depending on where I'm sitting, so the orb never looks quite the same twice. It's dim enough for late reading but still bright enough to actually see by.
I keep staring at this thing instead of actually using the room. The orb looks like it's floating inside the acrylic, and depending on where I'm sitting the glow shifts from warm to almost violet.
The acrylic layers make the light shift depending on where I'm standing in the room, which I wasn't expecting. It's on my nightstand now and gives off this soft glow without being harsh. Genuinely one of the cooler things I've bought this year.
