The Present - イヤークロック

My sister gave me this for my birthday and it's become a little ritual — I check it every morning and watch the year slowly fill. It doesn't tell you the time, it tells you how much of the year you've got left, which is a completely different feeling.

I hung this in my office and it's oddly calming to see a year laid out as one slow circle instead of a ticking screen. The single hand barely moves day to day, which is kind of the point.

Watching the single hand creep across the dial instead of ticking off seconds completely changed how I think about a year. It's become a quiet morning ritual with my coffee, just checking how much of the circle is left. Beautifully made, too.
