この珍しいメカニカルパズルは、古代の科学機器であるアストロラーベの設計に触発されて作られました。交差した2つのリングが四面体のフレーム内で回転しますが、小さな金属タブが特定の方向への動きを妨げます。不可能に思えるかもしれませんが、リングを外してフレームから取り出すことは可能なだけでなく、その方法は2通りあります。1つの解法では両方のリングを同時に外すことができ、もう1つの解法では1つずつ取り出します。上級パズル愛好家にとっても難しい問題です。
