母なる自然の驚異と美しさを紹介することに情熱を注いだ吉村浩一氏は、植物をアクリルキューブの中に繊細に保存する方法を開発しました。彼はそれを「ソラキューブ」と名付けました。
それぞれのソラキューブは日本の職人によって手作りされ、本物の植物が含まれています。 タンポポ の植物は、 高性能パラシュートの役割を果たすふわふわとした丸いボールで構成されています。雨が降るとパラシュートは傘のように閉じ、乾燥すると再び開いて種子を空へ運びます。
I keep it on my desk and the dandelion seed head suspended inside catches light in a way photos don't capture. Knowing it's cast from a real plant that took millions of years to evolve makes it feel less like a paperweight and more like a little time capsule.
The cube is smaller than I pictured but the dandelion seed head inside is incredibly detailed, you can see every little filament. It sits on my desk and catches the light nicely. Wish it came with a tiny stand, but I'm happy with it.
