The box is barely bigger than my palm, yet the hinges and hidden compartments feel properly nautical, not flimsy. I got properly stuck on the final lock for a good hour before the mechanism clicked.
The woodwork on this thing is gorgeous, and the way the hidden compartments slide open feels genuinely rewarding. I got it as a gift for a puzzle-loving friend, but honestly might have to order another for myself after we solved it together in one long afternoon.
Took me three evenings to crack the Davy Jones lock, and the moment those wooden panels finally release is pure satisfaction. The palm-sized build makes it perfect for a desk break, though I wish it came with a second puzzle because one solve just isn't enough.
