The two pieces come apart with barely any effort, which honestly made me smug right up until I tried to reassemble the thing. It's the kind of quiet puzzle you leave on your desk and keep picking back up, and the diamond shape feels solid in hand.
Took me a solid twenty minutes to figure out how those two pieces actually nest back together, and I refused to look up the solution. The click when it finally locks in is so satisfying.
I handed this to a friend thinking it'd take a minute, and he sat there for twenty. Taking the two pieces apart is the easy part, it's the reassembly that gets you. Solid weight to it too, feels nice to fiddle with while thinking.
