I dag er der kun én håndværker tilbage i Japan, der er dygtig nok til at forvandle meter af bånd til farverige, snurrende snurretoppe. Stoffet vikles i hånden om en bambusstilk, hvilket gør hver Kyoto Spinning Top unik. En gammel håndværkstradition genoplivet til moderne tider.
